Death toll from Israeli aggression on Lebanon rises to 4,362 martyrs, 12,378 wounded

The cumulative death toll from the Israeli aggression on Lebanon, since the beginning of the latest Zionist aggression on March 2nd, has risen to 16,740, including 4,362 martyrs and 12,378 wounded.

According to a statistical report by the Lebanese Ministry of Health, published by the National News Agency on Sunday, the number of victims increased by four martyrs and 19 wounded in the past 24 hours.

The report stated that this brings the cumulative death toll from the Zionist attacks since October 8, 2015, to 8,929 martyrs and 30,614 wounded.

It stated that the number of martyrs and wounded among healthcare workers since March 2nd has reached 135 martyrs and 416 wounded, as a result of 180 attacks by the Israeli enemy army on ambulances and medical teams.

Since March 2nd, the Israeli enemy has escalated its criminal aggression against Lebanon, targeting Lebanese towns, villages, cities, and civilian infrastructure, resulting in hundreds of martyrs, thousands of wounded, and the displacement of approximately 1.5 million Lebanese citizens, the majority of whom are not registered in shelters.

On June 18th, Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif announced that the Islamabad Memorandum of Understanding had been signed electronically between the United States and the Islamic Republic of Iran, which included a ceasefire on all fronts, including Lebanon. However, the Israeli enemy army is committing daily violations of the agreement.
