Social Nationalist Party Condemns Crime of Saudi Enemy Targeting Central Correctional Facility in Al-Jawf

The Social Nationalist Party strongly condemned, in the strongest terms, the heinous crime committed by the Saudi enemy in targeting the Central Correctional Facility in Al-Hazm city, Al-Jawf Governorate, which resulted in the injury and martyrdom of 14 inmates, including a child and a woman, in a non-final toll.

In a statement received by the Yemeni News Agency (Saba), the Party considered the targeting of a civilian facility that does not constitute any military objective to be a crime that contradicts humanitarian values and principles, international humanitarian law, and the ethical rules of conflict.

The statement pointed out that in light of the rapid developments in the national arena, safeguarding national dignity and protecting the blood of the Yemeni people represents a principled steadfastness that is not subject to bargaining or political bets.

The Social Nationalist Party warned the Saudi enemy of the consequences of betting on international alliances, which repeated experiences have proven to be futile and unsuccessful, or continuing to rely on moving paid agents domestically, affirming that losing bets will only produce further complexity and depletion.

It noted that protecting the security, sovereignty, and independence of the homeland is a right guaranteed by all charters, norms, and laws, and that the preemptive operations carried out by the Yemeni Armed Forces—including deterring mobilizations and shipments of enemy weapons—and the blockade imposed on Saudi navigation, are a legitimate right of self-defense and a way to prevent any attempts to turn Yemeni land and waters into an open arena for conflict, in implementation of the equation of “siege for siege.”
