Foreign ministry affirms criminal Saudi regime is one targeting civilians

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates stated on Saturday that the casualties touted by the Saudi regime are the result of interceptions by its own defense systems.

In a statement, the Ministry noted that the Saudi regime deliberately carries out interceptions over densely populated areas to inflict the highest possible number of casualties.

The statement emphasized that the Yemeni Armed Forces have demonstrated over the past 12 years that they do not target civilians or residential neighborhoods; rather, they target military sites and the oil facilities that fund the regime’s criminal military operations.

The statement pointed out that the party targeting civilians—across all demographics and age groups—is the criminal Saudi regime, which has killed tens of thousands in full view of the entire world, as attested to by international organizations and institutions.

The Ministry concluded its statement by noting that the military operations of the Yemeni Armed Forces are governed by religious, ethical, and humanitarian principles—a fact borne out by reality.
