Yemeni Armed Forces said that the Saudi warplanes carried out 300 airstrikes across several Yemeni provinces over the past week, including 26 strikes in the previous 24 hours.
In a statement, tha Armed Forces stated that the latest strikes were carried out by F-15 fighter jets that took off from Khamis Mushait Air Base and targeted Taiz province.
The Armed Forces stressed that the weekly total involved F-15 and Typhoon aircraft operating from Khamis Mushait and Taif air bases, with strikes targeting Taiz, Hajjah, Marib, Al-Jawf, Al-Baida, Amran, Lahj, Hodeidah and Sa’adah.
The escalation comes amid renewed Saudi enemy air operations against multiple Yemeni fronts. Yemeni authorities have repeatedly warned that continued Saudi airstrikes and military mobilization would draw a military response, while Saudi Arabia has continued to maintain pressure on Yemen through air operations.
