Armed Forces: Saudi Crimes Against Yemenis Will Have Grave Consequences

Yemeni Armed Forces spokesman Brig. Gen. Yahya Sare’e said that Saudi Arabia carried out 19 airstrikes across Yemen over the past 24 hours, resulting in casualties among civilians, including women and children.

In a statement, the Armed Forces stated that the Saudi F-15 and Typhoon fighter jets took off from the Khamis Mushait and Taif air bases to conduct the strikes, targeting the provinces of Taiz, Al-Jawf and Marib.

The Armed Forces stressed that the latest attacks brought the total number of Saudi airstrikes and missile attacks since the escalation against Yemen began to 936, adding that the attacks had caused deaths and injuries.

The latest strikes come amid a renewed escalation between Yemen and Saudi Arabia. Yemeni officials have repeatedly warned that continued Saudi military operations would draw a response, while Saudi-led attacks have targeted several areas across Yemen in recent days. The Armed Forces said the latest attacks would have grave consequences for Saudi Arabia.
