Revolution Leader Calls on Islamic Ummah to Take Stand against Saudi regime’s Plots Targeting Holy Sites, its attempts to drag Turkey, Pakistan into aggression against Yemen

In a speech delivered on Wednesday marking the third anniversary of the “Al-Aqsa Flood” operation, the Leader of the Revolution, Sayyed Abdul-Malik Badr al-Din al-Houthi, addressed important messages to the governments and peoples of the Islamic Ummah particularly in Turkey and Pakistan. He urged them to adopt a clear and explicit stance regarding the Saudi regime’s conspiracies against Islamic holy sites and its persistent attempts to implicate other nations in the unjustified aggression it is waging against the Yemeni people.

The Leader’s speech carried significant strategic and religious implications, especially given the conspiracies and attempts to destabilize the region at the expense of the Ummah’s major causes foremost among them the Palestinian cause.

In his address, the Leader of the Revolution called upon Islamic governments and their peoples, holding them historically accountable for their complacency regarding the Saudi regime’s plotting against the sanctity of Mecca and Medina in partnership with American and Israeli actors as well as its grave slander against the Yemeni people, falsely accusing them of targeting Islamic holy sites. He also highlighted the regime’s continued aggression and blockade against the “people of faith and wisdom,” a nation known for its honorable stances on the Ummah’s various causes and sanctities.

This call served as a reminder to Islamic governments and peoples that their current stance regarding the affront to Islamic holy sites will be recorded in history, and that complacency in the face of the Saudi regime’s manipulation of these sanctities would lead to dangerous consequences. The Leader of the Revolution also warned of a US-Zionist conspiracy targeting the sanctity of Mecca and exploiting this issue against the Yemeni people, noting that the Saudi enemy has leveled a grave slander against the Yemeni people by falsely claiming they seek to target Mecca and Medina.

In this context, Sayyed Abdul-Malik Badr al-Din al-Houthi emphasized that the Yemeni people are too honorable, pure, upright, dignified, and credible to accept any offense against Islamic holy sites namely Mecca, Medina, and Al-Aqsa Mosque and that everyone must deal firmly with the Saudi regime’s manipulation regarding these sanctities.

He exposed the contradiction of the criminal Saudi regime, which claims to protect the Two Holy Mosques while conspiring against them in partnership with the US and Israel, all while continuing its aggression and blockade against the Muslim people of Yemen.

The Leader of the Revolution dedicated part of his speech to addressing the Turkish and Pakistani peoples, expressing appreciation for the voices in Turkey and Pakistan that reject being dragged by the Saudi regime into the aggression against Yemen and that understand the reality of Saudi actions toward Yemen and its people.

He stated, “It is important for the Pakistani people and the free voices in Pakistan, which are held in high regard by the Yemeni people and oppose any Pakistani involvement in the aggression against our country to realize this.” He affirmed that the Saudi regime seeks, through its aggression on Yemen, to implement US and Zionist objectives and to turn Yemen into an occupied country subject to direct occupation. He reiterated that the Saudi enemy is a criminal and a killer of children facts that must be grasped by the [Islamic] Ummah, the peoples of the world, and the populations of the nations the Saudi regime seeks to drag into the aggression against Yemen. In this context, he pointed out that the same Saudi enemy responsible for the heinous crime against Jamal Khashoggi is currently committing the most atrocious crimes against the children and women of Yemen, while attempting to implicate others in this criminality.

In his address, the Leader of the Revolution questioned the justification for the Saudi enemy’s continued criminal acts against the Yemeni people and the ongoing blockade. He emphasized that the objective is to fulfill a US-Zionist agenda aimed at placing Yemen under direct foreign occupation and control, noting that the Saudi side operates under the American umbrella.

He also challenged the nations supporting Saudi Arabia, asking: “Let any country or people supporting the Saudi regime against our country tell us if they would accept such a situation for themselves having their airports closed, travel banned, access to their own wealth denied, and remaining under constant targeting and humiliation, where nothing enters the country without Saudi permission and after arbitrary procedures. Which country would accept this? Tell me.”

The Leader spoke of how the Yemeni people utilized the time following the 2022 de-escalation with the Saudi enemy to support the Palestinian people, whereas the Saudi enemy used that same period to capitalize on the US, Israeli, and Western stance against Yemen. He highlighted the collaboration between the Saudi regime and the Zionist entity against the Palestinian cause and any Arab or Islamic stance supporting Gaza. He explained that the Saudi enemy sought to cooperate with the Israeli enemy from the very first operations launched by Yemen to support the Palestinian people; this cooperation persisted through interception efforts conducted within Saudi airspace and even beyond, as well as at sea throughout the support campaign. He further asserted that the coordinates acknowledged by Saudi-linked spy cells matched the targets of raids carried out by US and Israeli forces, thereby exposing this coordination and collaboration with the Zionist entity.

The Leader of the Revolution also revealed that the Saudi enemy hosted Zionist officers for reconnaissance missions over the Saada governorate during the “Al-Aqsa Flood” battle. US aircraft transported these officers from Cyprus to Saudi military camps near the Yemeni border, and the Israeli enemy was granted permission to conduct reconnaissance over the Saada, Hajjah, and Amran governorates cooperation that continued until the officers returned to Cyprus with their equipment.

He emphasized that the Yemeni people have fulfilled their Islamic duty since the battle began, offering the utmost support at every level. This was demonstrated by unprecedented weekly mass rallies involving millions of people over the course of two years, as well as a vast number of military operations in support of Gaza operations that did not cease until the night the ceasefire was announced. In doing so, the Yemeni people demonstrated the highest level of commitment possible, embodying the Prophetic description of having the “softest hearts” regarding their humanitarian sentiments toward Palestine.
