Leader of the Revolution Sayyed Abdulmalik al-Houthi reaffirmed the unwavering stance of the Yemeni people in the face of American and Israeli aggression, declaring that confronting oppression and corruption is both a religious obligation and a moral imperative.
In a televised speech on the occasion of Ashura, he emphasized that the crimes committed by the enemy—particularly the ongoing genocide in Palestine—demand a collective response from the Islamic nation. Confronting American and Israeli tyranny, he said, is an act of faith and a duty that cannot be ignored.
Sayyed Abdulmalik warned that submission to such oppressive powers only leads to loss, disgrace, and humiliation in both this world and the Hereafter.
“Our sacred cause, despite the hardships and sacrifices it demands, is a path of immense reward. Living in dignity and freedom is far safer and more honorable than surrendering to humiliation,” he stated.
He underscored that the resistance movement is deeply rooted in Islamic principles and in full trust in Allah’s promise of victory, asserting that the path of truth, Islam, and the Qur’an is inseparable from the obligation to confront injustice.
Sayyed Abdulmalik praised the expanding momentum of resistance across the region, citing the steadfastness of Gaza, Lebanon, Iran, Iraq, and Yemen as inspiring examples of faith and defiance.
He reiterated Yemen’s unwavering support for the Palestinian cause, warning of the Zionist agenda which, he said, aims to destroy both the religion and the very existence of the Islamic nation. He reaffirmed Yemen’s allegiance to the Axis of Al-Quds and the free peoples of the Ummah.
“No matter the pressures or the sacrifices required,” he concluded, “our position remains steadfast, final, and non-negotiable.”
Since November 2023, Yemen has taken an increasingly central role in the regional conflict sparked by Israel’s war on Gaza, positioning itself not only as a military actor but as a strategic disruptor on the global stage. Under the leadership of the Yemeni Armed Forces and with unwavering public support, Yemen has launched dozens of long-range missile and drone strikes deep into Israeli-occupied territory, enforced a naval blockade in the Red Sea, and openly challenged American and Israeli dominance in the region
