Abdulsalam: Saudi Escalation Against Civilians Reveals Destructive Intentions Toward Yemen

Head of Yemen’s National Delegation Mohammed Abdulsalam said that continued Saudi attacks against civilians reveal the Saudi regime’s destructive intentions toward Yemen and its people.

In a social media post, Abdulsalam stressed that the Saudi forces continue to target civilian infrastructure, including bridges, buildings and markets.

He stated that such attacks would not produce any gains for Saudi Arabia, but would instead deepen its failure and strengthen Yemenis’ resolve to pursue their stated objectives. He also called on the international community, particularly Arab and Muslim countries, to exercise caution over supporting Saudi Arabia’s war against the Yemeni people.

The remarks come amid renewed Saudi airstrikes on civilian areas in Yemen, including recent attacks on markets and other civilian infrastructure in Taiz. Saudi Arabia has been targeting civilian sites during the years-long aggression.
