Aftermath of Israeli Strike on Evin Prison
A group of journalists visited Tehran’s Evin Prison on Monday, June 30, to inspect the aftermath of the recent hostile attack carried out by the Zionist regime.
Iran’s Judiciary has confirmed that at least 71 individuals were martyred in an Israeli missile strike on Tehran’s Evin Prison during the regime’s recent aggression against the Islamic Republic. udiciary spokesman Asghar Jahangir announced during the attack on Evin Prison, 71 people — including prison staff, soldiers, convicted inmates, families of prisoners who had come for visitation or legal follow-up, and residents of the surrounding area — were martyred.
The spokesman said the Israeli assault, which also targeted the prison’s medical center, occurred during inmates’ scheduled visitation time with their families and social workers.
