Ahmadian: Iranian forces ready to continue confronting enemy until its complete defeat

Admiral Ali Akbar Ahmadian, representative of the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution to the Defense Council, stated that the country’s military command structure has been mobilized and directed down to the lowest levels, emphasizing that the forces are “ready to continue confronting the enemy until its complete defeat.”

In a statement, Ahmadian added that the path and goals of Imam Khamenei, the beloved leader of the people, have been further solidified and made clearer through his courageous martyrdom, asserting that any attempt to extinguish the light of the Guardianship of the Islamic Jurist is a delusional dream.

He pointed out that this foundation of faith provides the grieving hearts with the reassurance to adhere to the path of the Islamic Revolution with even greater determination than before, adding that the Iranian people will record in history that this leader did not succumb to the enemy’s repeated aggressions, did not abandon the country and its people, and stood in defense of the nation’s independence until he attained martyrdom.

In another part of the statement, Ahmadian emphasized that the tragic loss of several commanders and members of the Defense Council during a sub-meeting of its secretariat would not disrupt the Council’s responsibilities. He stressed that the necessary scenarios and decisions for the current phase had already been made, and that operations were proceeding according to established plans.

The representative of the Supreme Leader to the Defense Council concluded by affirming that the level of preparedness and readiness remained intact, and that the chain of command and its ranks were ready to continue the confrontation until the stated objective was achieved.
