Ain Al-Insaniyah Center condemns strikes on residential house in Sana’a & school in Taiz

The Ain Al-Insaniyah Center for Rights and Development condemned Saudi enemy attacks on civilians , civilian facilities in Sana’a and Taiz on Sunday.

In a statement, the center said an airstrike hit an inhabited house in the Bab Shu’ub neighborhood of Sana’a, killing a child and injuring six people, including a woman , a child, while severely damaging the house and neighboring houses.

It added that another strike targeted Al-Jeel Al-Jadeed School in Al-Armah village, Saber Al-Mawadem District, Taiz, partially destroying the building and forcing it out of service, depriving students of continued education.

The center said the attacks constitute serious violations of international humanitarian law and the Geneva Conventions, which prohibit targeting civilians, houses and educational institutions. It held Saudi enemy legally and criminally responsible , urged the UN Human Rights Office in Sana’a and UNICEF to visit both sites, document the damage and condemn the attacks.

The center stressed that these crimes would not be subject to a statute of limitations, pledging to continue documenting them , calling on the United Nations and Security Council to protect civilians , educational facilities and ensure accountability.
