Al-Quds mourns leader of Revolution Khamenei
Al-Quds Brigades, the military wing of the Islamic Jihad Movement in Palestine, mourned Sunday, “with the highest expressions of pride and honor the martyr of Palestine, His Eminence Sayyed Ali Khamenei, an exceptional leader on the path of Jerusalem, and his fellow martyred leaders, after a journey filled with faith, awareness, and revolution, spanning decades of wise and promising leadership of the Islamic Revolution in Iran, which, under his leadership and guidance, has become a global phenomenon and an impenetrable barrier against the forces of arrogance.”
In a statement, al-Quds said: “Today, His Eminence Imam Ali Khamenei has fallen as a martyr in the nation’s most ardent battle, a battle whose banner and objectives are clear against the Zionist-American project that seeks to subjugate and subdue us, and which aims to enslave our nation in its hegemonic scheme. While subservient nations sought the patronage of the American devil, the martyred Imam always stood on the front lines, his voice and resolve resonating, shouting in the darkness of the Arab and Islamic world, ‘Death to the Great Satan!’ and declaring that America is not a destiny before which we will ever bow.”
It added: “The martyred Imam lived a life of courage and dignity, steadfast in his positions and his insistence on the nation’s right to possess the power, weapons, and technology that would enable it to be a formidable adversary against the flood of evil led by the two criminal devils of this era, Trump and Netanyahu.” She also recalled his unwavering stance on Palestine, his support for its resistance, his provision of weapons to it, and his involvement in all the wars and battles waged by our valiant Palestinian resistance.
It continued: “The martyred Imam, the leader of the blessed Islamic Revolution, passed away in the month of the Quran and Jihad, the holy month of Ramadan, raising the slogan, ‘If the religion of Muhammad cannot be established except through my death, then let the swords take me,’ joining the caravan of luminous martyrs, following in the footsteps of the prophets, the righteous, the great imams, and the martyred leaders in Palestine, Lebanon, Iraq, Yemen, Syria, and Iran, after fulfilling his trust and duty with kind words, a strong stance proclaiming the truth, and genuine unity in the face of the forces of falsehood, in the project of the centrality and urgent priority of the Palestinian cause, as it represents the spearhead in confronting the Western project that targets our nation.”
The statement affirmed that “assassinating leaders is a futile approach, proven ineffective in deterring free people from continuing their resistance against aggression. The arrogant powers employ this tactic to try and derail the course of events and drag the nation into the Zionist-American era, but their efforts are in vain. Iran is stronger and more resilient after the assassinations of its leaders, both past and present. Similarly, the Palestinian, Lebanese, Yemeni, and Iraqi resistance movements continue their struggle to humiliate the aggressors despite the harshness of the current situation.” She emphasized the Islamic Republic’s right to respond to this heinous crime in kind.
It added, “Let the oppressive America and the entire West know that illusions of power and arrogance do not create historical realities, nor do they sway the stances of free people. Their attempts to liquidate the Palestinian cause in favor of the Zionist occupier will not bring security and peace. Rather, they will intensify the confrontation until justice is served and rights are restored to their rightful owners, whatever the cost. The future of our nation and Palestine will remain tied to our weapons, not to normalization and submission.”
The statement continued, “We offer our condolences to ourselves, the Palestinian resistance factions, the leaders of the Islamic Revolution, the people of the Islamic Republic, the leaders and fighters of the Resistance Axis, and all the free and oppressed people of the world.”
It added, “We extend our congratulations and condolences to the family of the martyred Imam, and we congratulate him on attaining the highest divine honors, thus fulfilling his ultimate aspiration of martyrdom on the path to al-Quds and Palestine, alongside his fellow martyred leaders who met their end with honor and dignity. We say that our loss of the martyred Sayyed Khamenei and his fellow leaders is great, but our solace and hope in our nation and its resistance are greater, God willing.”
The Brigades pledged, “To God, our nation, our people, the blood of the martyred Imam, and all the pure martyrs, we will carry the trust of their blood as a guiding light and fuel towards complete liberation and the demise of ‘Israel.’ This blood will continue to be shed until it triumphs over the sword—the sword of the Zionists, their allies, followers, and tools.”
