Armed Forces Shoot Down Saudi Enemy’s Apache Helicopter Near Najran
The Yemeni Armed Forces announced on Saturday that they had shot down a Saudi enemy Apache helicopter near Najran while it was carrying out hostile operations toward Yemeni military positions along the border.
Armed Forces spokesman Brig. Gen. Yahya Sare’e said the helicopter was downed using an appropriate weapon.
Since the latest Saudi escalation against Yemen, Yemeni forces say they have also shot down dozens of drones, along with an F-15 fighter jet and a Typhoon aircraft over Yemeni provinces.
The Saudi enemy’s renewed aggression against Yemen has increasingly exposed the vulnerability of its military aircraft to Yemeni Air Defenses.
Alongside the reported downing of F-15 and Typhoon fighter jets and dozens of drones, the latest Apache helicopter incident near Najran marks another setback for Saudi forces.
