Armed Forces Target Saudi-Backed Forces at Al-Nasr Camp, Naval Base in Aden

Yemen’s Armed Forces announced a preemptive operation targeting gatherings of Saudi-backed forces at the so-called Al-Nasr Camp and the naval military base in Aden, according to military spokesperson Brig. Gen. Yahya Sare’e.

In a statement, the Armed Forces said that Saudi officers, led by Brig. Gen. Badr Salah Al-Harbi, were overseeing preparations and mobilization at the sites for operations against the Yemeni people and Armed Forces.

The Armed Forces urged those being recruited not to join Saudi efforts to draw Yemenis into fighting their own compatriots in pursuit of Saudi interests

The reported operations come amid continued military escalation on several fronts. Yemen’s Armed Forces say their operations target Saudi-backed troop concentrations and military positions as tensions and clashes continue to intensify.
