Baqer Darwish, Head of the Bahrain Forum for Human Rights, asserted that—following the failure surrounding the fabricated claim that Mecca was targeted—Saudi Arabia is now manufacturing a new incident involving Medina, this move aims to tarnish the image of the honorable Yemeni people, who stand as defenders of the nation’s sanctities.
In a statement , the Forum’s head said, “It is hardly surprising that Saudi Arabia exploits the symbolic significance of these sites—revered by Muslims—for its own political agenda, given that it imposes an unjust blockade on Yemen and is moving toward normalization with the occupation entity.”
He added, “Whom are we expected to believe? Those who lack even a loaf of bread yet still defend Palestine? Or those who carried out the killing of Khashoggi with saws, and who lied about the bombing of the funeral gathering in Sana’a on October 8, 2016, and the Dhahyan bus attack in Sa’ada on August 9, 2018?”
Darwish explained that the truth is well known; no matter how much Saudi media exaggerates or amplifies its narrative, it will not succeed.
The Head of the Bahrain Forum for Human Rights concluded his statement by saying, “Those with a years-long record of war crimes against Yemenis are the last who should speak about sanctities and sacred sites; however, they are certainly qualified to speak about Epstein and the closed-door dealings with the Mossad.”
