The cumulative death toll from the latest Israeli aggression against Lebanon has risen to 4,352 martyred and 12,318 injured, since the aggression began on March 2.
According to a statistical report issued by Lebanon’s Ministry of Health and published by the National News Agency on Friday, the toll over the past three days increased by two deaths and eight injuries.
The report said 135 healthcare workers have been killed and 410 injured since March 2, as a result of 179 attacks by Israeli occupation forces targeting ambulance teams and medical personnel.
Since March 2, Israeli forces have intensified attacks on Lebanese towns, villages and cities, as well as civilian sites, resulting in hundreds of deaths, thousands of injuries and the displacement of around 1.5 million Lebanese, most of whom are not registered at shelters.
On June 18, Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif announced that the Islamabad Memorandum of Understanding had been signed electronically between the United States and Iran and included a ceasefire on all fronts, including Lebanon. The occupation forces, however, have continued to commit daily violations of the agreement.
