The cumulative death toll from the Israeli aggression on Lebanon rose on Sunday to 3,412 martyrs and 10,269 wounded, since the beginning of the recent Zionist escalation on March 2 of last year.
According to a daily statistical report by the Lebanese Ministry of Health, published by the National News Agency, the death toll from the aggression increased over the past 24 hours by 41 martyrs and 140 wounded.
The report stated that the number of martyrs and wounded among healthcare workers rose to 127 martyrs and 329 wounded, as a result of 158 attacks by the Israeli enemy army on ambulance teams and health crews.
It reported that the Israeli attacks caused damage to 17 hospitals and the closure of three others.
Since March 2 of last year, the Israeli enemy has escalated its criminal aggression on Lebanon, targeting Lebanese towns, villages, cities, and civilian structures, resulting in thousands of martyrs and wounded, and the displacement of approximately one and a half million Lebanese citizens, the majority of whom are not registered in shelters.
A temporary ceasefire agreement came into effect in mid-April of last year, but the Israeli enemy army commits daily violations of the agreement.
