Defense Minister Confirms Armed Forces Ready to Confront US-Backed Israeli Threat

Yemen’s Minister of Defense and Military Production, Major General Mohammed Nasser Al-Atifi, affirmed the full readiness of the Yemeni Armed Forces to face the US-backed Israeli enemy at all levels.

In a statement to Yemen’s official news agency Saba, Al-Atifi said, “We follow the orders of the Supreme Commander Sayyed Abdulmalik we are his missiles and his army, and the military is fully prepared on all fronts.”

He emphasized that the political leadership has taken all necessary measures to confront the enemy, and any schemes against us will fail, highlighting that the US targets civilians, as is happening in Gaza.

Yemen has maintained a position of vigilance and preparedness in the face of regional aggression, particularly targeting Israel and its allies.

The Yemeni Armed Forces have repeatedly affirmed their readiness to defend national sovereignty, drawing strength from centralized command and a unified military strategy.

The ongoing regional tensions, marked by US support for Israeli operations, have prompted Yemen to reinforce its defense measures and assert solidarity with Palestinian civilians affected by attacks. This statement from the Defense Minister underscores Yemen’s commitment to protecting its people, responding to external threats, and maintaining a strong stance in regional conflicts.
