Deputy Foreign Minister and Expatriates Abdulwahid Abu Ras sent a cable of condolences to the head of Hamas in the Gaza Strip and chief negotiator, Dr. Khalil al-Hayya, over the martyrdom of his son Azzam at the hands of the Zionist occupation entity.
Abu Ras said, “As we congratulate you on the great honor attained by your martyred son, we affirm that the martyrdom of your four sons in this sacred battle embodies the genuine unity between the leaders of the resistance and the sons of the Palestinian people, and confirms that the leaders of the resistance offer their own children just as the people of Palestine sacrifice their lives in defense of the land and holy sites.”
He pointed out that the cowardly assassination policy pursued by the Zionist entity against the Palestinian people reflects the state of crushing failure it has suffered in the face of the resistance’s steadfastness and resilience, and also reflects the criminal approach of the occupying entity, which neither honors covenants nor agreements and disregards humanitarian laws and conventions, while continuing daily to commit acts of genocide against Palestinians in partnership with the United States.
The Deputy Foreign Minister renewed Yemen’s firm position — leadership, government, and people — in support of the Palestinian people, their brave resistance, and the nation’s central cause, Palestine, until victory is achieved.
He expressed his deepest condolences and sincere sympathy to Dr. al-Hayya, the family of the martyr, the Palestinian people, and the Islamic Resistance Movement Hamas, praying that Almighty God grant the martyr Azzam His vast mercy, admit him into Paradise, and bestow patience and solace upon his family and relatives.
