Education ministry condemns Saudi aggression targeting of Al-Rawd School in Taiz

The Ministry of Education and Scientific Research has condemned the Saudi aggression’s continued targeting of educational infrastructure after aggression aircraft directly struck Al-Rawd School in the Al-Rubaei area of Al-Ta’iziyah district on Monday for the third consecutive time, completely destroying the remaining parts of the facility.

In a statement, the Ministry described this criminal act as cowardly, asserting that it is part of a series of systematic and barbaric attacks in which aggression aircraft target civilians and the pillars of the educational process—including students, teachers, and educational facilities.

The statement noted that the Saudi aggressor’s hostility toward the educational system stems from a desire to disrupt and halt the learning process, aiming to deprive future generations—upon whom the Yemeni people rely to build a bright tomorrow—of an education.

It emphasized that the enemy’s continued direct targeting of the educational system—while blatantly disregarding international and humanitarian norms, charters, and laws—reflects the moral collapse, bankruptcy, and impotence reached by the Saudi regime.

The Ministry of Education also denounced the vacillating stance of the international community and the United Nations regarding the bombing of children, schools, and civilians, as well as their failure to take a firm stand against war criminals and perpetrators of atrocities in Yemen.

This inaction, the Ministry added, has emboldened the Saudi aggressors to commit further war crimes and continue the targeting of children, women, and civilians.
