Events Committee Calls for Million-Man March on Friday in Commemoration of Imam Zaid’s Martyrdom & in Support of Armed Forces Statement

The organizing committee for events called for a million-man and largest-ever march in rallies titled “Commemorating the Martyrdom of Imam Zaid (peace be upon him) and Supporting the Armed Forces Statement,” to be held on Friday afternoon in Al-Sabeen Square in the capital Sana’a and squares in other governorates.

In a statement issued today, the committee emphasized the importance of wide participation in the rallies to commemorate the martyrdom of Imam Zaid (peace be upon him), affirm the commitment to following his path in confronting the forces of arrogance and tyranny, support the Armed Forces Statement in defending the nation’s sovereignty and independence, restore national wealth, and expel the occupiers.
