Foreign Ministry condemns continued Zionist aggression against Palestine & Lebanon

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates condemned in the strongest terms the continued Zionist aggression against Palestine and Lebanon and the systematic crimes resulting from it against civilians and civilian infrastructure, in flagrant defiance of all international norms, laws, and covenants.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs clarified in a statement, that despite the ongoing talk about peace in Palestine and the establishment of the so-called Trump Council led by a war criminal, the Zionist enemy entity continues its brutal aggression and perpetrates genocide against civilians and civilian infrastructure in Gaza and the West Bank. This has resulted in the martyrdom of over 71,000 and injuries to 171,000 since October 7, 2023.

The Ministry reaffirmed Yemen’s steadfast and principled position in supporting the steadfast Palestinian people until they attain all their legitimate rights, foremost among them being their right to self-determination and the establishment of an independent Palestinian state on their entire national soil with Al-Quds Al-Sharif as its capital.

The statement pointed out that the Zionist aggression on the towns of Kfarkela, Jarjou’, and Qanarit in southern Lebanon is a flagrant violation of Lebanon’s sovereignty, international law, and the ceasefire agreement.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs called on the brotherly Lebanese people to stand united in confronting the conspiracies being plotted against Lebanon, its sovereignty, and national unity, and to thwart the enemy’s schemes aimed at sowing discord and igniting internal conflicts.

It expressed the full solidarity of the Yemeni Republic with the brotherly Lebanese people and their valiant resistance, affirming Lebanon’s legitimate right to defend its land, people, and sovereignty by all legitimate means.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs concluded its statement by calling on Arab and Islamic countries to shoulder their religious, moral, and legal responsibilities regarding the aggression and genocidal crimes faced by the Palestinian and Lebanese peoples, and to work earnestly and effectively to adopt unified positions and take practical measures to stop the Zionist aggression and restore legitimate Arab rights.
