Foreign Ministry: If Saudi enemy does not cease its aggression, its screams will define coming phase
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates affirmed on Sunday that the principle of reciprocity dictates the nature of the military response to the Saudi regime at this stage.
In a statement, the Ministry noted that the dozens of martyrs, hundreds of wounded, and the systematic destruction of Yemen’s remaining infrastructure occurring since the targeting of Sanaa Airport in the middle of this year have placed the Yemeni Armed Forces under the obligation to respond to these crimes.
The Ministry recalled the Saudi regime’s disregard for all demands to lift the blockade and stop targeting Sanaa International Airport over the past 12 years including UN demands pointing out that the airport had been subjected to hundreds of raids and its infrastructure targeted even prior to the Zionist-led strikes on the facility.
It explained that lifting the blockade and ending all hostile activities against Yemen would be less costly for the Saudi enemy than the reckless adventures that will inflict upon it strategic damage.
It advised airlines bound for Saudi airports to coordinate with the Yemeni Humanitarian Operations Center, noting that such coordination serves to absolve them of moral and legal liability.
Furthermore, the Ministry asserted that the hostile political and media activities pursued by the Qatari regime make it complicit in the bloodshed and suffering of the Yemeni people. It highlighted the significant decline of Qatar’s role traditionally known for conflict mediation and its misguided alignment with the oppressive Saudi regime, a stance that poses a danger to Qatar itself. The Ministry called on Qatar to reconsider its position as a partner in the media and political targeting of the Yemeni people. The statement noted that the flawed stance of the United Nations and its envoy to Yemen exposes some of these suspicious activities, which serve to legitimize Saudi crimes in Yemen.
The statement declared, “Unless the Saudi enemy comes to its senses, desists from its aggression, and stops interfering in Yemeni affairs, what lies ahead by the grace of Allah will be far more severe. Those who issue paid-for statements and condemnations must instead pressure the Saudi criminal to halt its criminality, aggression, and interference in Yemen; otherwise, the list of consequences will grow, and the screams and wailing of the Saudi enemy will define the coming phase.”
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs concluded its statement by emphasizing that the Saudi regime’s transformation of the Bab al-Mandab Strait into a theater of military confrontation without eliciting concern from the international community reveals the true intentions and motives of those who raised their voices when Yemen asserted sovereignty over its own territory.
