Foreign Ministry: Turning Grand Mosque’s Pulpit into Platform for Spreading Lies

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates has condemned the Saudi regime’s transformation of the pulpit of the Grand Mosque in Mecca into a platform for spewing lies, accusations, and fabrications, describing it as a grave affront to the Qibla of Muslims and other Islamic holy sites.

In a statement, the Ministry asserted that the voices of these “corrupt clerics”—who fabricate falsehoods—are the very ones seeking to ruin the Houses of Allah; they are unfit to be custodians of the Holy Sites.

The statement noted that, for decades, the Saudi regime has exploited these sacred pulpits to target its adversaries within the Islamic Ummah, these pulpits have never been used to serve the Ummah’s vital causes or to confront its enemies—foremost among them the Zionist Jews.

The Ministry concluded its statement by urging the Islamic Ummah to fully grasp the magnitude of the danger posed by this criminal regime regarding Mecca and Islamic holy sites. It warned against the regime’s attempts to exploit their sanctity, turning them into mere mouthpieces for its own agenda—akin to its inflammatory media channels that align with the enemies of the Ummah.
