Hamas: Approval of Legalizing 19 New Settlements in West Bank Dangerous Escalation

The Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) stated on Friday that the announcement by the Israeli Finance Minister, Bezalel Smotrich, of the approval of legalizing 19 new settlements in the West Bank constitutes a dangerous escalation in the annexation and Judaization project.

In a press statement, the movement pointed out that this reflects the extremist nature of the Israeli government, which treats Palestinian land as colonial spoils and is desperately striving to entrench a settlement reality in order to achieve complete control over the West Bank.
