Hamas, Islamic Jihad condemn ongoing Zionist aggression on Gaza Strip & occupied West Bank

The Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) and the Islamic Jihad Movement in Palestine condemned the ongoing Zionist aggression against the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip and the occupied West Bank, the continued siege on the Gaza Strip, and the enemy’s failure to implement the first phase of the Sharm El-Sheikh agreement.

This came during a meeting between Ali Baraka, head of the National Relations Department of Hamas abroad, and Ihsan Ataya, a member of the political bureau of the Islamic Jihad Movement in Palestine, according to what was reported by Hamas’s Telegram channel on Wednesday evening.

They stressed the importance of strengthening national unity and intensifying coordination among various Palestinian factions and forces, in a way that serves the steadfastness of the Palestinian people and their legitimate struggle until achieving their goals of liberation, return, and independence.

They condemned the ongoing incursions into the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque by extremist settlers under the patronage of the criminal Ben Gvir, considering that as part of the plan to Judaize Jerusalem and divide the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque temporally and spatially.

They also condemned the ongoing Zionist aggression against brotherly Lebanon, declaring full solidarity with the Lebanese people, and saluting their steadfastness and valiant resistance in the face of the enemy.

Baraka and Ataya called on UNRWA to fulfill its responsibilities towards Palestinian refugees in Lebanon and to provide urgent humanitarian, medical, and food aid, given the difficult circumstances and ongoing Zionist attacks affecting everyone.
