The movement stated it and other Palestinian factions have fully complied with the agreement, including prisoner and remains handovers according to the timetable, despite challenges caused by widespread destruction.
It added that the Israeli government has failed to uphold its commitments and continued its actions under the cover of the agreement.
In a statement , the movement added, “After more than two years of a brutal war of extermination waged by the enemy entity against the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip, during which the world witnessed the Zionist fascist government and its criminal army commit the most heinous crimes and violations known to modern times against innocent civilians, the movement affirms that the daily violations committed by the enemy, its killing of hundreds of children, women, and civilians, its deepening of the humanitarian catastrophe through the tightening of the siege and the policy of starvation, the continued closure of the Rafah crossing or its only nominal opening, the westward movement of the so-called ‘yellow line’ in several locations, and other violations, constitute clear evidence of the war criminal Netanyahu’s government’s disregard for the mediators’ efforts and its attempt to evade and undermine the agreement.”
It emphasized that “this ongoing aggression, despite the signing of the Sharm el-Sheikh agreement, is an extension of the war of extermination against Palestinian civilians. It represents an anomalous humanitarian, political, and legal situation under international laws and conventions established to protect civilians, where more than two million people are held hostage to the will of a killing machine, a siege, and starvation.”
Hamas also stressed that “the enemy’s continued violations necessitate a clear and firm stance from the mediators and guarantor states to condemn these policies and to fulfill their responsibilities in ensuring the implementation of the agreement. This will compel the war criminal Netanyahu’s government to abide by its commitments, halt its aggression against our people’s blood and rights, and end the crime of starvation and human suffering.”
