Health Minister: International Silence Has Enabled Saudi Enemy to Persist in Killing Civilians

Minister of Health and Environment Dr. Ali Shaiban affirmed that international silence, the policy of double standards, and the turning of a blind eye have emboldened the Saudi enemy to persist in killing civilians and committing further crimes—actions that render the United Nations and all its affiliated bodies complicit.

Speaking at a press conference in Sanaa today, Minister Shaiban stated that the Saudi enemy disregards all humanitarian and ethical considerations in its aggression against Yemen. He noted that humanity has witnessed no parallel to such conduct, characterized by the targeting of civilians, civilian infrastructure, markets, schools, hospitals, cemeteries, bridges, and more.

He pointed out that the heinous crime committed yesterday by Saudi enemy aircraft—targeting a popular market at the Mawiyah Junction during peak hours when it was crowded with citizens—stands as definitive proof of the Saudi enemy’s terrorism and criminality in targeting the civilian population.
