Hezbollah stated that the blood of martyrs and the wounded will not go to waste and reaffirmed the resistance’s right to respond to Israeli attacks in Beirut and other Lebanese areas.
In a statement on its Al-Manar website, the group described the strikes as “brutal crimes” that strengthen its resolve to defend Lebanon, curb enemy aggression, and uphold security. Hezbollah condemned Israel’s “mobile massacres” targeting civilians in Beirut, the southern suburbs, Sidon, the south, and Bekaa, resulting in hundreds of casualties, including children, women, and the elderly.
The party called the attacks a “desperate attempt to punish civilians” after failing to break Lebanese and Iranian resilience. Hezbollah also praised the steadfastness of Lebanese citizens who continue to support resistance despite sacrifices.
Lebanese Health Minister Dr. Rakan Nasrallah told Reuters that hospitals are overwhelmed with hundreds of casualties following the largest Israeli airstrikes on Beirut and other cities since March 2, which have killed hundreds, wounded thousands, and displaced around 1.5 million citizens amid wider U.S.-Israeli aggression in the region.
