Hezbollah expresses support for Hamas’ position on Trump’s plan

Today, Sunday, the Lebanese Hezbollah expressed its support for the stance adopted by the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas), in consultation and coordination with other Palestinian resistance factions, regarding U.S. President Donald Trump’s plan to halt Israeli aggression on Gaza.

Hezbollah stated in a communiqué received by the Yemen News Agency (SABA): “This position, while rooted in a strong concern to stop the brutal Israeli aggression against our people in the Gaza Strip, also affirms the commitment to the principles of the Palestinian cause and the protection of the Palestinian people’s rights.”

The statement added: “This position also reflects Hamas’ commitment, along with all resistance factions, to the unity of the Palestinian people. It considers that the Palestinian national consensus, based on legitimate national rights, should be the framework for negotiations aimed at ensuring the withdrawal of the enemy from the entire Gaza Strip, preventing the displacement of its residents, enabling the Palestinian people to manage their political, security, and livelihood affairs independently with their own capabilities, and rejecting any form of external guardianship, regardless of its nature or source.”

Hezbollah called on all Arab and Islamic countries to stand behind the Palestinian people, Hamas, and all Palestinian resistance forces, supporting them at all levels to stop Israeli aggression against Gaza and the West Bank, prevent population displacement, rebuild the Gaza Strip, and restore all legitimate national rights of the Palestinian people.
