The Lebanese resistance movement Hezbollah says it has struck several military bases and illegal settlements along the Lebanese border with the northern Israeli-occupied territories.
In a series of statements released on Sunday, the Lebanese group announced that its fighters successfully targeted the town of Nahariya and adjacent settlements with a barrage of drones and missiles.
The resistance group also bombed Israeli targets across Kiryat Shmona and inflicted heavy losses on the occupied forces.
Multiple operations also struck a number of gatherings of Israeli soldiers in and around the settlements over the past hours, the statement emphasized.
Hezbollah earlier said that its fighters killed at least two Israeli soldiers and injured several others in an operation last night.
Israeli media, which has been stunned by the highly professional operational capabilities of Hezbollah on the battlefield, confirmed the killing of soldiers by Hezbollah.
The latest series of operations by Hezbollah came in response to the ongoing deadly air strikes by the criminal Israeli regime on residential areas of Beirut’s southern suburbs of Dahiyeh.
Hezbollah started its latest operations deep inside the occupied territories after Israeli strikes bombed southern and eastern parts of Lebanon on a daily basis, in violation of the November 2024 ceasefire.
Hundreds of Lebanese, mostly civilians, have been killed across the Arab country since then.
