In response to attacks on Lebanon: Iraq’s “Al-Nujaba” announces continuation of strikes on occupying entity
The Secretary-General of the Al-Nujaba Movement, one of Iraq’s Islamic resistance factions, Sheikh Akram Al-Kaabi, announced today, Wednesday, the continuation of targeting the Zionist entity in response to Israeli attacks on Lebanon.
Al-Kaabi stated in a post on the “X” platform, as reported by the Yemen News Agency (SABA): “Given the ongoing recklessness of the Zionist enemy, its violations of covenants , agreements, and its targeting of our people in Lebanon—as is its habit , nature of treachery, lies, and deceit—the Resistance Front will strike back with force. These villains will not cease breaking their pacts and agreements, but let them know that times have changed, circumstances have changed, and they will regret this treachery.”
Less than ten hours after announcing a ceasefire with Iran, Israeli forces carried out extensive airstrikes on several Lebanese cities and towns, including Beirut, Sidon, and Baalbek, resulting in hundreds of martyrs and injured, according to the Lebanese Ministry of Health, with a large influx of casualties to hospitals.
