In response to its violations, Lebanese resistance targets Israeli positions, gatherings, settlements
The Islamic Resistance in Lebanon targeted, at various times on Thursday, positions and gatherings of Israeli enemy soldiers and Zionist settlements in southern Lebanon and the occupied territories with rocket barrages and drone strikes.
In four separate statements , the resistance detailed these operations, emphasizing that they were carried out in defense of Lebanon and its people, within the framework of Operation Protective Edge, and in response to the enemy’s violation of the ceasefire agreement. They stressed that this response would continue until “the Israeli-American aggression against our country and our people ceases.”
In statement number 2, they said, “In defense of Lebanon and its people, at 8:42 AM on Thursday, April 9, 2026, the mujahideen of the Islamic Resistance targeted a Namera armored vehicle in the town of Taybeh with a guided missile, achieving a direct hit.”
In statement number 3, they added that at 8:45 AM on Thursday, April 9, 2026, the mujahideen targeted an Israeli force positioned inside a house in the Taybeh project with a swoop-down missile, achieving a direct hit.
In statement number 4, the resistance explained that “in response to the enemy’s violation of the ceasefire agreement, and after the resistance adhered to the ceasefire while the enemy did not, the mujahideen of the Islamic Resistance targeted the settlement of Kiryat Shmona with a barrage of rockets at 10:00 AM on Thursday, April 9, 2026.”
In statement number 5, the Lebanese resistance stated that its mujahideen targeted the settlements of Kiryat Shmona and Metula with rocket barrages at 10:50 AM on Thursday, April 9, 2026.
Yesterday, Wednesday, less than ten hours after the ceasefire agreement with Iran was announced, Israeli enemy forces launched extensive raids on a number of Lebanese cities and towns, including Beirut, Sidon, and Baalbek, resulting in hundreds of martyrs and wounded, according to the Lebanese Ministry of Health, amid a large influx of injured people to hospitals.
The Islamic Resistance in Lebanon continues its operations in response to the escalation of Israeli aggression since March 2nd.
