Iran: 165 Schoolgirls Martyred as Search Operations Conclude Following Aggression’s Targeting of Girls’ School

Iranian authorities announced on Sunday evening that the number of martyred schoolgirls has risen to 165 following the conclusion of search operations under the rubble at an elementary girls’ school that was targeted by the Zionist-American aggression on Saturday morning in the city of Minab, southern Iran.

Iran’s Tasnim News Agency quoted the acting governor of Minab County as saying: “With the completion of rubble removal at the ‘Shajareh Tayyebah’ school, the bodies of 165 martyrs were recovered from under the debris.”

Early Saturday morning, the United States and the Zionist entity began a new aggression against Iran, in which the Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Sayyed Ali Khamenei, and a number of senior Iranian leaders were martyred, and which resulted in hundreds of children and civilians being killed and targeted the capabilities of the Iranian people.

In response to the aggression, Iran announced the start of “Operation True Promise 4” against the Zionist entity and American bases in the region.
