Iran: 55 Public Libraries damaged in 12 provinces following US-Zionist attacks

Azadeh Nazarboland, Secretary-General of Iran’s Public Libraries Foundation, announced that 55 libraries across 12 provinces have been damaged, with two in Zanjan and Ilam completely destroyed, due to recent “US-Zionist” attacks.

Speaking during a visit to the damaged Seyyed al-Shohada Public Library in Zanjan, she condemned the attacks on cultural sites and called on international institutions to respond urgently.

She stressed that targeting these educational and cultural centers is a direct assault on societal awareness.
