Iran condemns U.S. incitement against its negotiators in Pakistan

Ismail Baghaei has condemned what he described as U.S. political and media incitement calling for the assassination of Iranian negotiators in Pakistan, labeling it “state terrorism.”

In a post on X, he criticized comments reportedly cited by The Washington Post, saying they encourage violence and undermine diplomatic efforts.

He added that such rhetoric must be widely condemned, as Iran’s delegation—headed by Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf—continues talks in Islamabad with a team including political, security, and economic officials.
