Iran protests to UN Security Council over Israeli threats

Iran has filed a formal complaint to the UN Security Council, condemning threats made by the Israeli entity against Iran’s Leader of the Islamic Revolution.

Iran’s UN envoy Amir Saeed Iravani warned in a letter to the UN Secretary-General and Security Council president against remarks attributed to Israeli officials, including claims that Sayyed Mojtaba Khamenei is “a target for assassination.”

The letter described the statements as state terrorism and a violation of the UN Charter, warning that continued silence from the Security Council would embolden further actions.
