Iranian army announces targeting of petrochemical industries, centers, & systems of American-Zionist enemy
The Iranian army announced on Tuesday that it had targeted, using drones, petrochemical industries, centers, and systems of the American-Zionist enemy in the occupied territories, the UAE, and Kuwait, in response to the aggression on Iran.
In statement No. 58, it said: “As part of continuing drone attacks in response to the American-Zionist enemy’s assaults on the country’s petrochemical industries and infrastructure, the Iranian army has, since last night, targeted the ‘electricity production unit and fuel storage facilities belonging to the petrochemical industries’ in the southern occupied territories near Dimona, the ‘US Navy maintenance and support center in Jebel Ali port in the UAE,’ in addition to ‘radar systems and US forces accommodation buildings at Ahmed Al-Jaber Air Base in Kuwait,’ through intensive drone attacks.”
It explained that the Dimona industrial area is considered one of the sensitive economic and security zones for the Zionist entity, as it contains one of the largest chemical complexes in the Negev desert, housing energy production facilities and fuel storage linked to petrochemical industries, some of whose materials are used for military purposes.
It pointed out that the US Navy maintenance and support center in Jebel Ali port is one of the largest support centers for US warships in the region, providing advanced logistical and maintenance services to its fleet.
The Iranian army mentioned that Ahmed Al-Jaber Air Base in Kuwait hosts US forces and includes radar systems and hangars capable of receiving various types of military aircraft, in addition to the stationing of the US Air Force’s 332nd Wing inside it.
On February 28, the United States and the Zionist entity launched a new aggression on Iran, which has killed hundreds of civilians and targeted schools, hospitals, mosques, and other vital resources of the Iranian people.
In response to the aggression, Iran launched Operation True Promise 4 against the Zionist entity and US bases in the region.
