Iranian First Vice President Mohammad Reza Aref confirmed on Monday that those who previously imposed sanctions on Iran are now negotiating with it to resume energy supplies, considering this one of the fruits of resistance.
Aref said in a post on the “X” platform, monitored by the Yemeni News Agency (Saba): “In the past, they refused to sell fuel to our aircraft in order to hinder the Iranian people, and today those same countries have returned to the negotiating table with Iran to resume energy supplies.”
He added: “This is the result of resistance; we have reached a stage of authority in meeting global needs.”
European countries, backed by Washington, have imposed economic sanctions on Iran for years and prohibit the sale and purchase of its oil products as part of efforts to pressure it and subject it to imperial dependency.
