Iranian Forces Respond to Trump’s Threat: US Forces, Equipment in Region Will Be Destroyed

In response to recent threats from President Donald Trump, Iranian Armed Forces spokesman Abolfazl Shekarchi asserted that in the event of any confrontation, US forces and equipment would be destroyed, and all US resources and interests in the region would be within range of Iranian fire.

According to the Iranian news agency IRNA, Shekarchi warned the US president on Friday, saying that Donald Trump’s repeated statements and threats are nothing but challenges and illusions.

He added, “The Armed Forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran, relying on their defensive and offensive capabilities, and with the support of their brave, united, and steadfast people, are closely monitoring all movements of the US military and the Zionist entity in the region with full readiness and precision.”

Shekarchi described the US military presence in the region as “psychological warfare, blackmail, and intimidation,” and said, “If Washington officials were wise and rational, and understood the true capabilities of the Iranian Armed Forces, they would never speak of war.” He continued: “Any provocative action by the US military or its affiliated terrorist groups will be met with a decisive response and crushing strikes from the Islamic Republic of Iran.”
