Iranian Foreign Minister: Our Missiles Hit Their Targets in Regional Bases, Zionist Entity

Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi confirmed on Monday evening that the missiles of the Iranian forces hit their targets, both in American bases in the region and in the Zionist entity, pointing out that the belief that it is an invincible force has proven to be untrue.

He said, in an interview with the Iranian Broadcasting Corporation, the text of which Araqchi published on his “Telegram” channel: “As soldiers of this system, we perform our duty side by side with the armed forces. In the midst of war, we must be the voice of the Iranian people abroad. Legally, we must defend the rights of the Iranian people.”

He added: “Our strength is derived from the blood of the martyrs. Only the followers of the Master of Martyrs (peace be upon him) understand this concept, how blood triumphs over the sword. Now, as we speak among ourselves, and our leader and our leaders have been martyred, we stand before what appears to be the most powerful army in the world, and another army that also claims strength.”

He explained: “We were not deceived. Our armed forces paid no attention to knowing what we were doing. The armed forces were operating according to their principles, and therefore when the war broke out, they moved within an hour. There was a high probability of deception, and we participated in the negotiations to affirm that we are people of reason and logic.”

The Iranian Foreign Minister asked: “What were the intentions of the Americans when they entered the negotiations? Was that deception? Perhaps they wanted to achieve their goals through negotiations. We resisted that as well.”

He continued: “We exercised extreme caution in the negotiations, which were conducted with precise calculations, careful planning, and extensive deliberations. The forms, stages, and issues of the negotiations were discussed and decided in numerous meetings of the Supreme National Security Council.”

He added: “We followed all paths, participated in the negotiations and did not lose, and showed the world that we are a people who excel at negotiation, while they are a people who use force and impose their demands.”

He affirmed that the war has now become more legitimate and rightful for Iran and its people, adding: “Had we not negotiated, perhaps this legitimacy would not have been created. Now, everyone is certain that we spared no effort.”

He pointed out that Iran spared no effort in defending the rights of its people, preventing war, and maintaining peace in the region, stating: “If there was a way to negotiate, we tried it, and if there is a way to war, we will resist.”

Araqchi noted that the United States and “Israel” harbor a grudge against the Iranian people, pointing out that during the twelve-day war, they tried to mobilize people in the streets to effect change, but they failed to achieve their goals. Then they tried to incite riots in the streets, but they failed to achieve their goals again, and now after launching the attack, they thought the people would interact with them, but they were wrong again.

He reaffirmed that Iran is not against neighboring countries, but against the American forces stationed in bases on the territory of these countries, and Iran is against the Americans and the “Israelis” who attack it day and night.

He said: “It is natural for American soldiers to be stationed in hotels. We will defend ourselves and our people by all means. The enemy attacks us from various directions, and we attack it from various directions. In our view, this is not a regional war, but a war between Iran and the United States that has spread to the region.”

He added: “We have no war with the countries of the region, except for the Zionist entity, but unfortunately, American forces are deployed in various countries of the region, forcing us to confront them, and this is our confrontation with America, and we hope the countries of the region will understand that.”

He continued: “Today, three American F-15 aircraft crashed. The cause of their crash is still unknown. Their claim is suspicious, as they say the reason is an error in the Kuwaiti defense system. If this claim is true, then the defense system of Kuwait and the countries of the region was designed by the Americans. So, they targeted their own system, and they cast doubt on the strength of their army by firing on three of their own aircraft simultaneously.”

He went on: “They claimed they were not using the countries of the region, and the countries of the region claimed they would not allow the United States to access their territory and airspace, so how did this aircraft end up in Kuwaiti airspace?! It is a strange story that shows that, contrary to the image they promote, they are weak internally and unable to defend themselves.”

The Iranian Foreign Minister concluded: “After the war, documents must be collected and presented in legal and international forums, and the perpetrators of the war and their partners must be held accountable. We, along with the armed forces, must take measures to deter ongoing attacks.”
