Iranian Navy Commander: We have closed Hormuz Strait ; any enemy advance will be met With swift action

Iranian Navy Commander Admiral Shahram Irani said Wednesday that Iranian forces have closed the Strait of Hormuz from the Arabian Sea side, warning that any enemy advance would be met with a swift and decisive response.

Quoting Tasnim, he said Iran’s adversaries believed they could defeat the country within a week, calling that assumption “a joke” in military circles.

He added that Iran has conducted missile operations against the aircraft carrier Abraham Lincoln, temporarily disrupting US air operations, and said further enemy plans have been halted.

Irani also stated that Iran remains committed to retaliation for its martyrs, and warned of continued firm action if escalation continues.
