Iran’s Revolutionary Guard Announces Full Control of Strait of Hormuz

Iran’s Revolutionary Guard announced on Wednesday that it has taken full control of the Strait of Hormuz, a vital waterway for global oil trade at the entrance to the Persian Gulf.

Iranian naval official Mohammad Akbarzadeh said, “The Strait of Hormuz is now under the complete control of the Revolutionary Guard’s naval forces,” according to the Fars News Agency.
