IRGC: Killers of Uma’s Imam won’t escape severe, decisive, deterrent punishment
The Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps affirmed that the martyrdom of the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Sayyid Ali Khamenei, at the hands of the most brutal terrorists and executioners of humanity, is an indication of the greatness of this leader and the acceptance of his sincere service.
In a statement issued early Sunday morning, the IRGC said: “We will launch at any moment the fiercest offensive operation in the history of the armed forces against the occupied territories and American terrorist bases.”
It added: “We call upon all segments of society to actively and consciously participate in the fields of defending the homeland and to embody the highest forms of unity and solidarity.” He affirmed that “the Revolutionary Guard, the Armed Forces, and the Basij (Popular Mobilization Forces) will resolutely continue on the path of their leader in defense of his precious legacy.”
He stated, “The hand of vengeance of the Iranian people will remain extended, and the necks of the murderers of the Imam of the Nation will not escape severe, decisive, and deterrent punishment.”
He added, “This martyrdom will only increase our people’s determination to continue the enlightened path of our beloved Imam Khamenei.”
He emphasized that “the terrorist crime perpetrated by the malicious governments of the United States and the Zionist regime represents a violation of all norms.”
He said, “Martyrdom in the cause of Islam and beloved Iran is a sign of victory and a step closer to the goal, but the martyrdom of Imam Khamenei will not halt his approach and legacy.”
The statement continued, “We have lost a leader of immense stature, a leader unique in his era for his purity of spirit, strength of faith, sound judgment, and courage.”
It concluded, “We extend our deepest condolences and congratulations on the martyrdom of the eminent scholar and spiritual guide, the leader of the martyrs of the Islamic Revolution, Imam Ali Khamenei.”
Iranian television announced that the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution was martyred while performing his duties in his office following a treacherous attack in the early hours of Saturday morning.
It explained that his martyrdom at his workplace once again refuted Zionist claims, emphasizing that he remained present and engaged among his people.
