Islamic Jihad Mourns Islamic Revolution Leader, Sayyid Khamenei

The Islamic Jihad Movement in Palestine mourned today, Sunday, to the Palestinian people and to the peoples of our Arab and Islamic nation, the martyrdom of the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution in Iran, the mujahid leader Sayyid Ali Khamenei, and a group of mujahid leaders in a treacherous and malicious American-Israeli attack against the Islamic Republic.

In a statement, the movement said: “We have known the Leader as a wise and steadfast leader, a staunch defender of the dignity of the Islamic nation, and a defender of it against all projects aimed at occupying its land, plundering its resources, and usurping its sovereignty. The Leader, along with the martyred leaders who were martyred alongside him and those who preceded them, dedicated their lives to protecting the nation’s honor and preserving its dignity, and to defending its causes, foremost among them the cause of Palestine and the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque.”

The statement added: “With this great martyrdom, the Islamic Republic of Iran has proven the sincerity of the Iranian leadership and its courageous people’s adherence to their firm positions, which have not been shaken by threats nor distracted by temptations.”

The Movement affirmed that the malicious American-Israeli targeting of the leaders of the Islamic Republic of Iran is a full-fledged war crime that transcends all humanitarian and ethical standards. This targeting confirms that the war criminals in Washington and Tel Aviv are proceeding with their plan to extend their hegemony and expand their occupation of the peoples of our nation.

The Movement sgtated that the dear and courageous Iranian people and their wise leadership are capable of deterring this aggression, punishing the perpetrators, and defeating all plots targeting Iran, which will remain a steadfast fortress against the enemies of the Iranian people and the peoples of our nation.

The movement extended its deepest condolences and blessings to the Iranian people, their leadership, and their fighters, and to our Arab and Islamic nation, on this great martyrdom, asking Allah to make it a gateway to imminent victory.
