Israeli warplanes carried out two airstrikes on Bint Jbeil district in southern Lebanon on Thursday evening, in continued violation of the ceasefire agreement.
Lebanon’s National News Agency said the strikes targeted the town of Braachit and the valley between Braachit and Shaqra. An explosion was also heard in the Braachit–Beit Yahoun area.
Earlier, Israeli drones struck the vicinity of Ghandour Hospital in Nabatieh al-Fawqa twice within 30 minutes. The Israeli army also conducted a large demolition operation near the towns of Kounine and Tayri.
Israeli forces have continued daily ceasefire violations despite the truce announced on June 18.
