Israeli Enemy Continues Attacks across Gaza, Leaving Palestinians Wounded

Israeli enemy military vehicles advanced into the Beit Lahia area in northern Gaza, while heavy gunfire targeted Palestinian residential homes in the area.

Meanwhile, Israeli enemy warships opened fire on coastal areas of Gaza City.

At the same time, occupation forces’ military vehicles shelled Palestinian homes near Al-Mahatta Mosque on Yafa Street in the Al-Tuffah neighborhood, injuring several residents.

In central Khan Younis, a Palestinian child was wounded after being directly targeted by Israeli regime soldiers in the Al-Najjar area.

Another Palestinian citizen was also shot and injured in the Al-Zahra area in central Khan Younis.

In addition to direct gunfire, Israeli regime artillery units targeted eastern areas of Khan Younis, causing extensive material damage to homes and infrastructure.

Gaza hospital sources reported that the injured were transferred to hospitals in Khan Younis, with some patients described as being in moderate to critical condition.

Rescue teams have also launched search operations to locate possible missing people trapped under the rubble.

The attacks come as Gaza has remained under what Palestinian officials describe as a genocidal and devastating war by the Israeli regime since October 7, 2023, resulting in tens of thousands of Palestinian deaths and injuries, as well as the unprecedented displacement of more than 90 percent of the territory’s 2.3 million residents, according to official Palestinian figures.

Meanwhile, the Palestinian Ministry of Health in Gaza released the latest figures on casualties from the Israeli regime’s ongoing war against Palestinians.

According to the ministry’s report, the death toll from the Israeli regime’s war in Gaza has reached 73,386, while the number of injured Palestinians has risen to 174,250.

The ministry said the figures reflect the continuation of mass killings and genocide, despite a ceasefire announcement on October 11, 2025, with Israeli regime forces continuing their attacks.

The Palestinian Ministry of Health in Gaza stated that the Israeli regime has failed to honor the ceasefire agreement and that since the truce began on October 11 last year, 1,258 Palestinians have been killed and 4,138 others wounded in Israeli regime attacks.

The report added that during the same period, the bodies of 807 Palestinians were recovered from beneath the rubble of destroyed buildings.

It said many victims remain trapped under debris, while severe shortages of heavy machinery and equipment in Gaza have significantly slowed search and recovery operations.

The health ministry’s report comes as international human rights and medical organizations have repeatedly warned of the humanitarian catastrophe in Gaza.

Severe shortages of food, drinking water, medicine and fuel have pushed living conditions for more than 2 million Palestinians in the territory to what the ministry described as unbearable levels.

Meanwhile, repeated attacks on medical centers and hospitals have brought Gaza’s healthcare system to the brink of complete collapse.
