Israeli occupation renews administrative detention orders for 56 Palestinians in West Bank

The Israeli occupation authorities have issued new and renewed administrative detention orders against 56 Palestinian prisoners from various areas of the occupied West Bank in Palestine.

In a joint press release on Monday, the Commission of Detainees and Ex-Detainees Affairs and the Palestinian Prisoners’ Club stated that the orders included both new administrative detention orders and renewals for Palestinian detainees for periods ranging between three and six months.

The two institutions published a list of the names of these administrative detainees, their detention periods, and their governorates, affirming that the Israeli occupation continues to escalate the crime of administrative detention under the pretext of possessing.
