In a press statement, the governorate explained that enemy forces carried out raids into several towns and neighborhoods, during which tear gas and sound bombs were fired and residents were pursued, creating a state of tension , fear, especially among children and women.
It added that settlers’ attacks continued under the protection of enemy forces, including assaults on property and land, in what it described as a dangerous escalation targeting the Palestinian presence in Al-Quds and its surroundings.
The governorate considered these practices a blatant violation of international humanitarian law and international legitimacy resolutions, holding the Zionist enemy authorities fully responsible for the consequences of this escalation.
Al-Quds Governorate called on the international community and human rights and humanitarian organizations to assume their responsibilities and take urgent action to stop the crimes committed by Zionist forces and settlers against the Palestinian people in Al-Quds.
