Khatam al-Anbiya HQs: Drones Launched at US Ships in Response to Attack on Iranian Vessel

Early Monday morning, Colonel Ebrahim Zolfaghari, spokesman for the Khatam al-Anbiya Central Headquarters of the Iranian Armed Forces, announced that the armed forces had retaliated against the armed piracy perpetrated by the US military against an Iranian commercial vessel.

In a post on the “X” platform,  he stated: “A number of drones were launched at US military vessels.”

Zolfaghari had previously stated that the aggressor, the US, through a violation of the ceasefire and an act of maritime piracy, attacked an Iranian commercial vessel in the waters of the Sea of Oman by firing upon it, disabling its navigation system, and then landing a number of terrorist marines on board, as reported by the Iranian Tasnim News Agency.

He added: “We warn that the armed forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran will respond to this armed piracy perpetrated by the US military and will avenge it soon.”
